Raymond Allen Shaffer Family contact: Ray Shaffer Notes: Raymond Allen Shaffer, 51, of Philippi, WV passed away Sunday, February 10, 2008 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was born on June 24, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Sandra Bailey Shaffer of Morgantown and the late Thomas Shaffer. He served in the United States Marines. He is survived by his wife Denise Harris Shaffer of Philippi; one daughter, Amanda Shaffer of Philippi; one son, Raymond Shaffer of Morgantown; one stepson, Michael Shamblin of Philippi; one sister, Janet Winnie of Morgantown; two brothers; Tommy Shaffer and Charles Shaffer, both of Morgantown; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
